Fantastic effort by many of you who have now completed 2 weeks of walking/running..Well done.
As weeks pass by the effort you will be required to put in will increase marginally and I am sure you will adapt to it. At the same time, it is important to keep the leg muscles relaxed and loose. Here are two stretches that help keep the calf and hamstring loose – these muscles play an important role in running. Have a look and see you can spend an additional 5 minutes after your run to do these stretches – I repeat the stretches are to be done AFTER the run.
